About Soul Arc Entertainment

Soul Arc Entertainment is an idependent Hip-Hop record label based out of Delaware. It was established in 1997 by two young entrepreneurs, Wize Dome, an emcee from Wilmington and Merlin, a producer from Philadelphia. Their vision for the company was to build a record label that allowed each artist to express his/her own creativity. Soul Arc combines a variety of styles such as underground, commercial/urban, funk and even R&B into it's music.

Along with it's web site, soularc.com, Soul Arc's launch was marked by it's first promotional party in Delaware. The artists of Soul Arc have appeared on University of Delaware's Hip-Hop radio show, "Head Rush", for which they previously wrote and recorded one of the show's intro reels. Some of the label's other accomplishments thus far have been their first compilation "The ARChives" as well as several individual releases from it's members. Wize Dome has performed with artists such as Rakim and Changing Faces. Merlin is mostly known for his 2004 Jay-Z 'Black Album' remix, "The Gold and Purple Album."
